Thread
(for the Lady
that holds the thread)
by
Dahni
See she sets into sea
burning out
beyond horizon's distant
disappearance
in closure of light drawn
away the sight
clouds hide the moon as
the last remaining
light
drawn of lapping shores to
follow is
all sound drawn into the
night
rhythm - motion
heart and breathing
slows the life is draining
- waning
but stronger than steel
the silk - the single
silver thread
remaining stretched from
this
to there beyond
somewhere tomorrow
connection remaining
through fragile web of time
