   With great pleasure, I announce that right before this work was set to go to press and even after advance copies had been sent, the two people of whom this collection was written, actually met!

   This joining is shared with us the readers of this work, in the poem immediately following here called, 'Canyon Echo.' The leap of joy can only be compared to their depth of longing for they are still separated by distance and circumstances. This love so great and so inspiring to me, give me wings to my own heart.

   Perhaps now in some dust-covered memories nearly forgotten, are merely tales of love or loves that lasted a lifetime. Love like this seems almost a fairy tale today, for few seem to ever find each other or stay together. While perhaps many seek greener pastures for their heart's desires, Ravnsong seeks a way to stay in the heart forever. Forever begins at some point in time, a beginning and lasts for whatever time remaining to the two. Some live only for the present. Some try to live in the future. Some try to live in the past. We need these all to truly live. Ravnsong the collection, the writer and the lovers just seek to live! 'Canyon Echo' are reflections of the precious moments when love lived in the hope of future, the then living present, and now forever in the recall of living memory.
