As the clouds melt away to the rosy glow of dusk the man and maid bathed from these raindrops softly warm Ravn flies with cover of night clutched in her beak and talons the cover of sprinkled twinkling stars overflowed - lake waters recede from pregnant banks All creatures great and small retreat leave in private these the focus of celebration - celebrated celebrating Cricket - owl - wolf and wind cease their music for greater crescendo builds Sun - moon - rainbow and stars cease their shining swallowed up for something brighter grows Eyes no longer laughing now dance Flutist no longer echoes on canyon walls flows softly away to drifts for something now more stirring flows Arrows once plunged into the heart no longer wound - absorbed into one one another one Hart no longer leaps no longer hit, dying runs - the dream of buck splitting - becomes the two running - towards the doe towards each other Two harts pass into become the one something new No longer the touch of two become one but the taste of the breathing born - that brought the raven's wings - that was carried by the wind that held the clouds - that stretched the sky that held the sun - that suspended the stars that reflected the moon - that carried the flute that held the wolf's wail - that brought the creatures that dropped the rain - that lapped the shores that flowed the river - that made the colored beads that shot the arrow and the sounds now rising from canyon walls breathing echoes no more two, but now one repeating the taste of a lifetime now sings
forever forever on
