There beneath singing jewels of night sky
In the cool and late of all else sleeps
Eyes huddle for warmth around the glow
And inhale visions of flames that dance
Swallow and feed the pangs of hunger
Blue black feathered Ravn
Soars the passion flight
Wings held by hands of wind
Kiss there this song
Ravn and wind
Song and wings
Each bound more tethered
than by leatherd flesh
Deeper water than mix of blood
Split to time and distance
Blinded eyes of once
The smoke of hopeless search
Now cleared by the finding
Each joined more feathered
than by weathered soul
The breath of life in
The breath of life out
Two not, they are
Not without the other
Two, be they more tethered
by grace the feathered spirit
As now the embers tire of dance
And morning sun awakens
And thrush and rush of sound
And wings upon my heart, I call
Come Ravn
fly the wings for meant to soar
Come cry no more, your sisters weep no more for you
Cease never to sing for joy
In dreams that dance in flames not die
For you are Ravn my wings
I am wind your singing
One are Ravnsong
