by Dahni
Towards top of blackened hill
To catch first glimpse of painted sky
Cold stone earth awakened to lit fingers
Streaking across
Streaming down
Stretching out
into the heart of earth
Lonesome dove cries in the distance
Echoes cross the sheer cliffed bridges
sound catchers alarm to wake
Smoke of message rises
Hidden life reveals from every crack
By crack of dawn
Morning breaks
By kiss of Sun
Towards top of blackened hill
To catch last glimpse of painted sky
Cold stone earth sleeps from loss of fingers lighting
Retracting across
Retracing up
Retreating out
from the heart of earth
Lone owl cries in the distance
Echoes cross the sheer cliffed bridges
sound catchers beckon to sleep
Smoke of message rises
Hidden life conceals to every crack
By break of dusk
Evening sets
With sigh of moon
Sheer cliffed bridges crossed only by wave of sound
Echoes of cries the distance
Smokes the message by day by night
How span the distance between the light and dark
Between the shining and the reflecting
i am moon
but She is Sun
