Get Out
by Dahni
That’s it! Can’t take it any more! Pack your stuff and leave! You’ve been hanging around too long! You just lay around - leave all your stuff for me and anyone near, to slip, trip and fall. No affection - you’re so cold and frigid. Can’t breathe - you’re so thick and depressing. Pack your stuff and leave! You’ve been hanging around too long! My eyes grow sore looking at you - you’re so selfish - you’re no fun anymore I don’t love you anymore! Pack your stuff and leave! You’ve been hanging around too long! Oh, sure - You’re pretty, but I have been looking at you so long just laying around for so long - not talking - no communication and you’re worse at night - so cold and hard as rock Pack your stuff and leave! You’ve been hanging around too long! Oh, sure - You’re bright, but when was the last time we spoke of anything that mattered - you’re so thick, no one seems to get through you - you add nothing to no one anymore Pack your stuff and leave! You’ve been hanging around too long! I know you’re history - when you leave - you always seem to come back, freeloader but NOT THIS TIME! Pack your stuff and leave! You’ve been hanging around too long! Take all your stuff - all your choking blankets and get out! I’ve a new lover! Spring is coming and she’s going to wash the earth bed and everything else! Winter -Pack your stuff and leave! You’ve been hanging around too long! Just try and come back! I’ll change to an unlisted location! Here’s a thermometer - go call someone who cares! Pack your stuff and leave! You’ve been hanging around too long! from the collection: LIFE'S A TRIP © 1997 by the same author
