Valiantly casting off deeds of the dark with careful aim to not miss mark Let fly God's shaft of light into the cold dark night. The barren and broken revel in fears gasping from sorrow - drowning in tears. Open your arms to the bruised - to the lost Embrace the demented and tempest tossed. Kiss the wretched - the loathsome lot show kindness to cruelty - your life has been bought. Sow a seed and it shall grow as the sunflower to the sun guide those lost to see and know The effulgent Grace begun! from the collections: THE TEAR & THE TENDER © 1997 1st and LIFE'S A TRIP © 1997 2nd by the same author Note: Skopéo’ [sko + peh + o] from Greek means 'aim towards' - illustrated as an arrow aiming towards the bull's-eye with the view towards hitting the mark.
