I think of You
(for 'The Enjoining')

by Dahni

I think of you in springtime
For it is the time when love so often first meets
I think of you in summertime
When grew passion heat
I think of you in autumn
Harvested love as golden stalks
I think of you in wintertime
The rest and wait
Of the touch of you springing
I think of you at morning inhale
And exhale at sunset
I think of you in moon and starlight
Twinkles as your eyes
I think of you in sprays and rain and dew
And wind blows your breath near
I think of you in faces and expressions
Of colors, sounds and fragrances
I think of you in taste and touch
Of words and images born
I think of you in metaphors
Unable to express
I think of you in waking and dreams
That never last long enough to tell
When I think of you
Not
