To A Friend/To A Loved One

I love to think
                                                                                    how the closeness we share
                                                                                    has grown each day over the years,
                                                                                    How we always feel
                                                                                    so at ease with each other
                                                                                    in all we say and do,
                                                                                    And I'd like to think
                                                                                    if we were not friends
                                                                                    we would have been anyway!
