I soar above tree fingers
and spread the heart against sun breath

high above the smoke of whispers
from the clumps and clogs of earth borne dreams - never rising - daring, but resent
my dance - my music - my words -  my art

borne of wind - sustained by wind - perpetuated by wind
that calls with muffled voice far off
suddenly surrounds and bears me up
for this is what I am

and here I seek it’s calling - challenge – coming,
but though higher than the eagle’s glint
turbulence - wind sheer throws me down
gravity pulls - wind pulls, but tree fingers will not let go
what of string?

All the other children are playing and laughing in the breeze
while tree fingers will not release me

Oh, come to me my string
make me free to become all that I am
and I for you
all the pleasure of the firmament - patience of the planet

Love -  I am kite and you are string
